BASIC ROCK CLIMBING COURSE
With a goal to promote Rock climbing tourism as safe tourism, ALPNIST CLUB has been actively involving in the training activities intended to produce qualified and skilled resources. ALPINIST CLUB OF NEPAL conducts different courses related to trekking and hiking, mountain climbing, and rock climbing.
A basic rock climbing course is an ideal choice for people interested in exploring rock climbing and who want to develop their confidence in the mountains or rock. basic rock climbing is developed for rock climbing mountaineers and Participants should have some basic hill walking experience and a reasonable level of fitness. Training is run in the Hatibon or Bimalnagar areas of Nepal.
The duration of the training is 5 days with practical. It is conducted in any month of every year.
A basic Rock climbing course is ideal for beginner climbers; those who have never climbed on a rock and those with limited experience of indoors and outdoors climbing.
Objectives:
Uses of climbing devices, rope works, knots, tying to a different type of harnesses, basic belay system, holding falls, lowering & rappelling, route selection and guide book use, communication, risk factor, movement coaching, and climbing
