Among them, the Charachuri Himal region of Laprak in the Gorkha district of Gandaki province is one. Moreover, this region offers a combination of cultural diversity and stunning views of the mountain region. This hidden treasure is still unexplored and virgin for trekkers. It is one of the lesser-known Himalayan regions of lower Manaslu; it offers unique and diverse culture, mountain lifestyle, high altitude flora, and fauna.
Charachuri himal means in the gurung language many peaks of rock, and it is the uniqueness of this region to explore and summit the peak. According to the features of the peak, we practice mostly rock climbing then snow and ice climbing. The area is inhabite mostly by Gurung indigenous tribe. Additionally, This Himalayan range is a Neighbor of the Rupina la pass, and a hidden and holy lake Nisarang Chou.
