Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax or explore at your own pace. You may wish to take a short walk to Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you can wander through historic temples, palaces, and lively local streets.

Today, you will explore some of the most important cultural and spiritual landmarks in the valley. Begin your day at Kathmandu Durbar Square, a historic complex filled with temples, courtyards, and royal palaces.

Continue to Swayambhu Nath Stupa, one of Nepal’s oldest and most sacred Buddhist sites, offering panoramic views of the valley. Later, visit the impressive Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world, and the sacred Hindu temple Pashupatinath Temple.

In the evening, you may return to Boudhanath to witness monks and pilgrims walking around the stupa while chanting prayers and spinning prayer wheels.

Nepal is famous for its Himalayan peaks, and today you will have the opportunity to meet an experienced Sherpa climber who has summited famous mountains such as Mount Everest and Annapurna I multiple times.

During this meeting, you will hear fascinating first-hand stories about life in the mountains, climbing expeditions, and Himalayan culture. The rest of the day is free for leisure or further exploration.

Begin the day with a walk through the hidden alleyways of Kathmandu’s old city. This early morning walk reveals everyday life as locals gather in markets, sell vegetables and spices, and visit temples before beginning their day.

Later in the afternoon, travel to the historic city of Patan, located just south of Kathmandu and famous for its rich artistic heritage.

After breakfast, explore the ancient city of Patan with your guide. Wander through traditional markets and artisan workshops where craftsmen create metal sculptures, wood carvings, and handicrafts.

Visit the residence of Patan’s Living Goddess (Kumari) and learn about this unique cultural tradition. Later, enjoy a special visit to a local family home where you will learn how to prepare Momo, one of Nepal’s most popular dishes.

In the afternoon, visit a traditional workshop to learn about Thangka painting, a sacred Tibetan Buddhist art form. You will create your own simple Thangka painting to take home as a memorable souvenir.

After breakfast, drive to Nagarkot, located on the northeastern edge of the Kathmandu Valley. Nagarkot is famous for its panoramic Himalayan views, especially at sunrise and sunset.

On clear days, you can enjoy spectacular views stretching across the Himalayan range.

Wake early to witness a breathtaking Himalayan sunrise. As the sun rises, the mountain peaks glow in golden light, creating an unforgettable scene.

Later, enjoy a half-day guided walk through peaceful countryside landscapes filled with pine forests, terraced farmland, and traditional villages.

Today you will travel to Namo Buddha, one of Nepal’s most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites. Surrounded by hills and peaceful landscapes, this spiritual location offers a relaxing environment.

Spend the rest of the day exploring the monastery area or simply relaxing at your resort.

Today you will hike through beautiful countryside to the rural village of Balthali. Along the way, visit the monastery at Namo Buddha and continue through terraced rice fields, forests, and traditional farmhouses.

This peaceful walk offers a glimpse into authentic rural life in Nepal.

After breakfast, drive to the historic city of Bhaktapur, one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Nepal. Explore its beautiful squares, temples, and traditional architecture.

Later, take a short walk to visit Changu Narayan Temple, one of the oldest Hindu temples in the Kathmandu Valley and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  • Sampada Garden: Located just 20 minutes on foot from Thamel and Durbar Square, this hotel is convenient for exploring Kathmandu. The rooms have all the comforts for your stay: air conditioning, a bathroom, and Wi-Fi. Breakfasts are served as a generous buffet.
