Langshisha Ri Peak climbing (6427m)  is a technical and challenging mountain. This trekking peak lies in the Langtang region of Nepal.   therefore, for those climbers who really love adventure and use their experience of peak climbing, this is the perfect peak for that.  however, this Langshisha Ri peak is useful for practicing mountaineering over 8000 meters. for learning to use climbing equipment such as rope, ice-ax, tent, harness, and more.

The amazing trip will give you a beautiful chance to explore the amazing existence of the Kyanjin monastery.  moreover, you will have a tranquil experience. As you hike through the off-beaten trail of the Langtang valley.  definitely, You will accumulate memories lasting for a lifetime. As you start the trekking peak Langshisa Ri. you will accompanie by remarkable landscapes and wonderful mountain peaks. 

Langshisha Ri Peak Climbing demands an experienced climbing guide for the successful summit. Mt. Langsisa Ri Expedition begins at Syabrubensi after a 7-8 hours drive from Kathmandu. Our climbing guide will lead us through the beautiful valley. through, the trail  Bambo, Lama Hotel, Langtang village, Kyanjin Gompa, and move towards Langsisa Ri base camp. At Base camp, you will learn some mountain techni. Then, the next morning you will take summit  Langsisa Ri.

therefore, After successfully climbing the Langsisa we continue to descend to Syabrubensi. Spring and autumn consider the best seasons to start this exceptional  Langshisa-Ri climbing adventure. Winter and Monsoon are not favorable seasons because they bring an extra set of challenges in peak climbing.

 

Itinerary

Arrival in Kathmandu. you are greeted at the airport by our team and then transferred to our hotel. Evening briefing from your guide.

We reserve this day for sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley and to prepare for trekking. After having a warm breakfast, we will leave the hotel in a private vehicle with an experienced tour guide. We will visit several UNESCO-listed world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley and the famous sacred Hindu temple, the Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath stupa, and Boudhanath stupa. These places are famous to have inherited ancient religious practices, architecture, and culture.

As soon as we leave Kathmandu, the road rises and crosses a small pass at Kakani, at 2145 meters above sea level. On a clear day, the panorama is superb: on our left the Annapurna II, the Manaslu, and in front of us the Ganesh Himal massif. The road then plunges down to the wide valley of the Trisuli to arrive at the large village of the same name. Then we go back up by a winding road to Shyabru Bensi with a stop in Kalikhastan, the entry point into Langtang National Park.

Beginning of the trek. We cross the village of Shyabru, then terraced crops and a thick forest of oak, alder, and bamboo. We change banks by crossing the Langtang Khola River, by a wide suspension bridge. Some climbs and descents in landslides make this day not monotonous, despite the few visible dwellings in this wooded region. We cross the tumultuous Langtang Khola again before starting a steep climb up to Rimche, at 2,250 meters. The descent towards Changtang, called “Lama Hotel” (name of the first lodge built in this hamlet) is finally gentle.

We gradually climb into the forest and a few openings between the trees let us contemplate the limpid blue river below. Then, around a clearing, the Langtang Lirung (7,246 m) appears, majestic. The trail crosses a suspension bridge then climbs in the middle of yak meadows to Ghora Tabela, a pastoral village mainly occupied by Tibetans. The trail climbs steadily within the valley widening as we progress. We come across several typically Tamang houses, as well as the first manis, the prayer walls. Arrival in Langtang, a village recognizable by its Tibetan-style houses with flat roofs, is imminent.

Important: the historic village of Langtang was totally destroyed during the 2015 earthquake following an avalanche (rock, snow, ice). The new village is rebuilding slightly higher up in the valley. The traces of the earthquake and the avalanche are unfortunately still very present.

The trail winds through the largest village in the valley and joins a ridge dominated by a large square chorten and its long prayer wall. From there, access to a small moraine allows you to contemplate the Kyanjin gompa: the site is magnificent. Then little descent towards the lodges and the local cheese factory.

In the afternoon, the possibility of making an excursion to Kyanjin Ri (4773 m) which offers a remarkable point of view: Langtang Lirung (7227 m), Yala Peak (5050 m), Langshisha Ri (6560 m), massif from Urkeinmang Himal (6143 m), among many other peaks. If you do not wish to make this excursion, you can go up the wide Langtang valley, which rises very gently, towards the summer pastures of the yaks.

Day dedicated to the discovery of the upper Langtang valley. The Tsergo Ri, from which the wide circular view stands out as a belvedere, offers a grandiose panorama: Langtang Lirung (7246 m), Naya Kanga (5846 m), Dorje Lakpa (6966 m), Langshisa Ri (6427 m), Ganchenpo (6378 m) and, in the distance, the summit of Shishapangma (8013 m). The outward journey and return is a great day of effort. The terrain does not present any particular difficulties other than the altitude. The end of the course, among large boulders, is demanding.

Trek to Langsisa Kharka will take you approximately 5 hours. Langsisa Kharka is used by locals for pasturing and summer residences. This is a good point to enjoy a plethora of picturesque Langtang ranges including picturesque Langsisa Himal, Langtang Ri, Dorje Lakpa, and Yala, Stay overnight at camp.

 It will take approximately 5-6 hours depending on your pace. Trek from Langsisa Kharka to Langsisa Base Camp will take approximately 5-6 hours depending on your pace. Today you will spend your time at Base Camp acclimatizing and learning glacier walking, fixing ropes, and using ice axes. Stay overnight at camp.

It will take approximately 4-5 hours. Proceed to High Camp from Langsisa Base Camp which will take approximately 4-5 hours. Stay overnight at camp.

It will take about 4 hours from the High Camp. the summit of Langsisa RI peak which will take about 4 hours from the High Camp. Spend a lifetime experience of watching panorama of the Himalayas from the peak of Langsisa RI. Finally, you will climb down to Base camp for an overnight stay.

This will be a reserve day for us. Due to unpredictable weather, we might not be able to make the ascent. If such a case arises on the scheduled summit day, we will make the climb today.

Night at the tented camp

It takes about 4 hours. Descend down from Base Camp to Kyanjin Gompa which takes about 4 hours. Kyanjin Gompa is one of the most sacred places of Buddhists and is located amidst an abundance of wilderness. There are glaciers and Langtang ranges nearby along with ample wildlife activities. Stay overnight in the lodge

It takes about six hours. Return to Lama Hotel on the same route as the climb. A recent alternative path allows us to switch to the left bank of the Langtang Khola and hike through a beautiful softwood forest before crossing the river again and joining Lama Hotel.

It takes about six and half hours. Trek from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru (2130m.) takes about six and half hours. You retrace your steps to Thulo Syabru, and then take a path passing through forests. Stay overnight at lodge.

Today will be our last day of trekking. A scenic drive along the Trishuli River with the magnificent views of illustrious mountain peaks and lush vegetation will finally take us to Kathmandu. On reaching Kathmandu we will transfer you to the hotel and you can spend the remaining time shopping or resting.

Accomodation & meal

ACCOMMODATION

In a standard category hotel (base: double room) in Kathmandu and Pokhara, during the rest of the trip in a tent (3-person tents for 2 people) or in a lodge depending on the trip. The lodges in Nepal are very comfortable random. In general, conditions are quite good around the Annapurnas and the Everest region. On the other hand, in Mustang, in the Manaslu,  Tsum valley, and in the region of Kangchanjung or Makalu, they can be very rudimentary to the point of being a dormitory sometimes even a kitchen. lodges can look like a refuge or sometimes a bed and breakfast from home. Most of the time it is a family house with double, triple, or dormitory rooms. Toilets and showers are always separate.

MEAL

In the cities, many restaurants allow us to discover the typical local cuisine. Meat is scarce in the high mountain, the Nepalese are generally vegetarians. The basic ingredients are rice, pasta, lentils, potatoes, vegetables. Snacks are included during the trek (cereal bars, dried fruits, etc.).

For camping trek accommodation: during the trek, breakfasts and evening meals are prepared by the kitchen team. They are taken under the mess tent. Depending on the profile of the stages (length of the day’s walk and/or presence of water), midday snacks will be served hot or cold in the form of picnics.

For tea house trek accommodation: meals are prepared by the cooks of the lodge and are taken in the dining room. Here is a typical one-day menu:

breakfast: eggs, toast or chapati, or Tibetan bread or pancakes, or pancakes, butter/jam, tea or coffee

lunch: the main course, tea or coffee.

dinner: soup, main course, fruit (fresh or canned), tea or coffee

NB: Hindus and Buddhists are most often vegetarians. We, therefore, eat very little meat or fish. The dishes are pasta, rice, potatoes, lentils, etc.

 DRINKS: during the trek, tea is served with meals (two cups of tea per meal). Additional cups of tea and other beverages, including mineral water, are the responsibility of the participants. You can fill your gourds with water in the lodges, but it is essential to treat it with purifying tablets. Avoid buying plastic bottles,
