People and the culture, traditions, and language are similar to Tibetan, and the Manaslu region is known as a Nubri valley. Mt. There are three summits: Sano Larkya Peak, Larkya North, and Thulu Larkya Peak. In this climb will be the summit of Thulu Larkya Peak.

However, we will homestay with several friendly Gurung families, a real trekking highlight. For acclimatization, We do a day trip to mountain Manaslu Base Camp before pushing to Larkya Peak Base Camp.  Larke peak climbing is it’s self a technically difficult peak To summit, the larkya peak requires 500m fixed rope, base camp, and high camp. Base camp is close to the Larkya La pass of 5,135 m. Normally, Sano (small) Larkya Peak (5807m)can be climbed on a long day from this base camp. However, to climb Thulo (big) Larkya (6,249 m)need a high camp. There are three summits: Sano Larkya Peak, Larkya North, and Thulu Larkya Peak. In this climb will be the summit of Thulu Larkya Peak. Thulu Larkya Peak is a technical climb and physical challenge, however, an experienced guide will be there to accompany and offer any necessary assistance.

summit hidden gem larkya peak and manaslu circuit trek

Rated 4 out of 5
June 25, 2022

I climb larkya peak 6249m within 22 days treks to larkya la pass 5163m with the Alpinist club team and every aspect of the trip was superb. Our guides were Kalyan gurung and Samir gurung and the porters were very knowledgeable, helpful, and capable, and we all became friends very quickly. And They were from the Manaslu region. Our group undertook many days of tricky snow and ice-covered path trekking and we felt extremely well guided and looked after at all times. Larkya peak climbing was the biggest challenge, but our spirits and energy were expertly helped by the team. Sinking into the comfortable lounge/dining areas of the tea houses each afternoon, we always appreciated the hot drinks and snacks that were promptly organized. I unreservedly recommend the Alpinist club. I am looking forward to engaging them again for my next expedition to Himlung himal.
