Manaslu Circuit trek via laprak is the far less crowded neighbor to the Annapurna Circuit trek. This trek climbs through many valleys and villages inhabited by the local peoples. However, It is a beautiful way to experience the Himalayas while trekking through remote Nepalese valleys. Starting the trek on trails leading through the villages of Barpak and Laprak. We will homestay with several friendly Gurung families, a real trekking highlight.

Manaslu Circuit trek via laprak we walk through a variety of forests and pass close by the Himal Chuli and Manaslu glaciers cascading down peaks over 7000m high. Our highest point is 5100m, on the challenging Larkya La pass. The trek has a significant cultural element. With unforgettable meetings with Gurung, Tibetan, and Manangi residents in the many traditional villages. And a visit to the Pung Gyen Monastery. Several of the valleys north of Manaslu are still used as yak caravan trade routes with Tibet. A trekker will pass through many communities of the Himal Chuli during the slow climb through the Himalayan valleys. Our classic route takes us through friendly Gurung villages, a real trekking highlight.

The trek starts with a day-long drive in a private jeep, from Kathmandu to laprak, or with a shorter drive to Arkhet, depending on the road conditions following the monsoon season. Our trek travels first north into the mountains, then west. It ends at the classic start of the Annapurna Circuit.
