The journey follows the Trishuli River and passes through remote villages, terraced farmland, and scenic hillsides. We stop for lunch in Besisahar before continuing the drive. Today’s trek leads us toward Meta. The trail follows the riverside of Soti Khola, passing through dense forests, cascading waterfalls, and remote traditional villages. Along the way, you’ll enjoy stunning views of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal. After a long day of hiking—around 8 to 9 hours—we finally reach Meta. From this point, the panoramic mountain scenery is truly breathtaking. We settle into a comfortable tea house for the night.
DAY 5: TREK FROM META TO PHU VALLEY ( 4,080 M )
Today’s trail features a mix of ascents and descents along a scenic ridge, offering extraordinary views and several Tibetan Buddhist monasteries along the way. We pass through the remote villages of Chyaku and Kyang, where the landscape opens up to magnificent views of Pisang Peak and Annapurna II.
As we approach Phu Valley, you’ll immediately notice the strong Tibetan cultural influence. The local communities have preserved their traditions, lifestyle, and architecture with minimal influence from modern development, giving the valley a timeless and authentic atmosphere.
The highlight of the day is visiting the historic Tashi Lhakhang Monastery, an important religious site for the region.
DAY 6: EXPLORE PHU VALLEY
Today is dedicated to exploring the enchanting Phu Valley. Wander through its narrow lanes and admire the magnificent monasteries that define the valley’s character. You will get an authentic glimpse of Himalayan life, observing locals engaged in their daily routines—spinning sheep and yak wool, or pounding mustard seeds to extract oil. With their warm permission, you may capture these moments, always met with bright, welcoming smiles.
To make the most of the day, we will also undertake a hike up to Himlung Himal Base Camp, offering spectacular mountain views.

Along the way, you may encounter villagers tending to their livestock or going about their daily routines, offering a glimpse into the Himalayan lifestyle that has been preserved for generations.
The highlight of the day is visiting the Nar Phedi Monastery, a serene and spiritually significant site. As we approach Nar Village, you’ll notice the daily life of the local communities in full swing. Women can be seen weaving wool into blankets and rugs, a craft that has been passed down for generations. On the outskirts of the village, a tourist-friendly teahouse provides an opportunity to enjoy traditional local dishes alongside some international options, perfect for recharging after the day’s trek.
DAY 9: TREK FROM NAR VILLAGE TO NGAWAL VIA KANG LA PASS ( 5,240 M )
Today is a long and rewarding day of trekking. We start early, waking before sunrise, and begin our ascent through the Temdenzon Khola, passing yak pastures and enjoying stunning panoramic views of Pisang Peak along the way. The trail gradually climbs toward the Kang La Pass, one of the most scenic highlights of the trek.
From the pass, after approximately 4 hours of trekking from Nar Village, you are rewarded with breathtaking vistas of Annapurna II, Tilicho Peak, and Gangapurna. After soaking in the magnificent scenery, the trail descends toward Ngawal, where we will spend the night in a cozy tea house, surrounded by the tranquil Himalayan landscape.
DAY 10: TREK FROM NGAWAL TO PISANG AND DRIVE TO BESISHAR ( 2,493 M )
From Kang La Pass, we begin a long but scenic descent of over 2,000 meters. As we pass the lake just outside Pisang, the weather gradually warms, the landscape becomes greener, and the trail opens up, offering a completely different perspective of the region. We will pause here for a relaxing lunch, taking in the beautiful surroundings, before continuing along the trail.
Later, we meet a four-wheel drive that will take us to Besisahar, marking the end of this remarkable trekking journey. The drive through the valleys provides a final chance to enjoy the diverse landscapes and local villages of the Annapurna region.
DAY 11:DRIVE BACK TO KATHMANDU
We start the day early for a scenic drive back to Kathmandu, covering approximately 200 km. The route follows the ridges along the Marsyangdi River before joining the Trishuli River, offering beautiful views of the valleys, terraced fields, and local villages along the way.
