Saribung Pass and Peak Climbing Trek links Upper Mustang and Nar Phu Valley via a spectacular 6,000 m Himalayan crossing. Explore Lo Manthang, remote Tibetan villages, and dramatic high-altitude landscapes on this unforgettable Nepal adventure.
Embark on a rare and exceptional journey through three legendary Himalayan regions—Mustang, the Damodar Himal, and the Annapurnas—culminating in the ascent of Saribung Peak (6,328 m). This remarkable adventure begins in the mystical former kingdom of Mustang, where ochre cliffs, ancient cave dwellings, and timeless Tibetan culture set the tone for an unforgettable expedition.
The ascent of Saribung Peak (6,328m).
An itinerary adapted to limit walking time on the slopes as much as possible
Witness Mustang, Damodar Himal and Annapurna during the same trip.
The villages of Phu and Naar, and the panoramic Kang La (5,320m).
The route gradually leads into the remote Damodar Himal massif, a wild and secluded region shaped by glaciers and high mountain passes. The crossing of the Saribung Pass, rising above 6,000 meters, opens the way toward the pristine valleys of Naar and Phu, two of Nepal’s most culturally preserved communities. Here, traditional stone villages, cliffside monasteries, and dramatic landscapes offer a deep immersion into Himalayan life.
The climb to Saribung Peak, a relatively accessible glacial summit, provides a rewarding challenge for experienced trekkers. Throughout the ascent, you are accompanied by a certified Nepalese UIAGM high-mountain guide, ensuring maximum safety, expert supervision, and professional mountaineering support.
From mystical deserts to sparkling glaciers and high Himalayan panoramas, this expedition combines exploration, altitude, and cultural encounters—an extraordinary Himalayan experience at the heart of Nepal’s most iconic landscapes
