Itinerary

Expand All

When you arrive in Kathmandu, our representative staff will welcome you at the airport. Our staff will then drive you to the hotel where you can have a good rest.

After breakfast, we'll have a meeting to get familiar with the plan and make sure we have all the right gear. You can use the rest of the day to wander around Kathmandu, try some local food, and maybe pick up anything else you need for the journey. Later, we'll have a nice dinner together and talk more about what to expect on our trip.

After breakfast, we'll take a drive along the hills to the northwest of Kathmandu. Along the way, you can soak in the stunning views of the Himalayas and see how people live in the mountains, passing by fields and small villages. Our destination for the day is Syabrubesi, where we'll spend the night.

Today marks the start of our trek. We'll walk alongside the Langtang River, going through a thick forest. The path isn't too tough, and we'll cross some suspension bridges and pass by tea houses. By evening, we'll arrive at the Lama Hotel. Later on, we'll talk about preventing altitude sickness.

Today, we're headed to Langtang village. We'll begin our trek after breakfast. We'll pass through beautiful green forests and cross rivers along the way, following the Langtang River. Along the trail, you'll see some interesting monuments like Mani walls and chortens. By evening, we'll arrive at Langtang village and spend some time practicing map reading, tying knots, and learning about managing campsites

After breakfast, we'll begin our trek to Kyanjin Gompa. It's a small monastery nestled among the Himalayas. Once we arrive, you can explore the area, taking in the breathtaking views of glaciers, icefalls, and wildlife like birds and yaks. The nearby mountains include Yubra, LangShisa Ri, Nayakhang, and Ganchhengbu Peak. We'll spend the night at a hotel in Kyanjin Gompa.

Today, we're heading out for a hike to Kyanjin Ri. It'll be about 3-5 hours. Kyanjin Ri is a cool spot up high at 4773m / 15655 ft. Then, we'll head back down to Kyanjin Gomba for lunch. After lunch, we'll dive into some training. We'll learn about Jumaring (Self Rescue), Active Rappelling, and knot & rope techniques.

Today, we're trekking to Tsorku Peak Lower Base Camp. We'll spend the night in tents there. During the hike, we'll use the navigation skills we've learned before.

Today, we'll kick off our trek from the Higher Base Camp. We'll get the hang of walking in alpine boots, using poles and ice-axes on snow, and mastering glacial walks. Plus, we'll get training on how to rescue someone from a crevasse. Tonight, we'll bunk down in a tented camp.

Today, we're learning about different ways to use crampons, like walking flat-footed, moving sideways (traversing), and stepping forward (front pointing). We'll also practice using an ice axe and how to stop yourself if you fall (self-arrest technique). Plus, we'll talk about climbing gear. Then, we'll head back to camp.

After we eat breakfast, we'll start our training when we get to the Glacier. We'll learn about top rope ice climbing, how to stay safe and belay properly, and techniques for using ice and snow anchors. Plus, we'll practice using an ice axe to stop ourselves if we fall. We'll be staying in tents at a campsite.

We'll be learning a lot during the training. We'll focus on understanding the Demonstration/Description of fixed lines and how to use them on different types of land. We'll also practice rescue techniques. We'll cover other important skills too, like finding people in avalanches and using special tools like ARVA, a probe, and a shovel. Teamwork is also a big part of our training.
Once we finish training, we'll make a plan to reach the top of Tsorku Peak.

Today we will ascend to the top of Tsorku Peak and descend back to the Base Camp.

Extra day if any weather hazard or other circumstances cancel the summit day.

After we reach the top of the mountain, we'll head back down to Kyanjin Gompa. We'll stay at the same hotel we stayed in before. Later, we'll have a celebration to mark our successful climb.

After breakfast, we'll head out for ice climbing at a nearby frozen waterfall. We'll spend the day climbing on the ice.
Note: In winter, we'll focus on ice climbing, but in other seasons, we'll switch to training for rock rescue and alpine rock climbing. Overnight stay at Kyanjin Gomba.

Today, we'll go back down to Lama Hotel using the same path we took before. We'll cross the rivers, pass through the lush forest, and finally arrive at Lama Hotel where we'll spend the night.

We'll keep going downhill until we reach Stabrubesi, where we'll spend the night. Don't forget to pack up your stuff before bed because we're driving to Kathmandu first thing in the morning.

Return to the track with alternating coniferous forests and pastures. The last views of the Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges follow one another before a long descent. Arrived at the road, and a car awaited us to take us back to Kathmandu.

Free time depending on the departure time of your flight and our representative will drop you at the airport, ending your journey in Nepal. We hope to be of service to you again. Thank you and safe travels.
