Appropriate Seasons to Start the Trek
In terms of spring March, April, and May are the appropriate months to start your Saipal Base Camp Trek. During these months many favorable conditions for the trekkers make it easy for them to continue the trek. Temperature is also moderate during the trek which reduces the extreme weather conditions. Furthermore, there is a low chance of monsoon during these months which ensures a safe and smooth journey for trekkers.
Another appropriate season is the Autumn. In terms of Autumn September, October, and November will be the best months to trek. Due to its favorable weather conditions. Mid-temperature and stable weather conditions ensure the safety and security of its trekkers.
Besides these months, the other best alternative for you to trek is January or December.

Physical Training

Necessary Gear and Packing
You should include a warm hat, gloves, and a premium down jacket, in addition to various layers of clothing that will keep you warm and dry, such as moisture-wicking base layers, insulating mid-layers, and waterproof outer layers. You must carry well-fitting hiking boots that provide good ankle support to prevent blisters, Although there are some simple lodges available, pack light for your camping trip and carry a sturdy tent, a sleeping bag that can withstand the cold, and a cozy sleeping mat.
Permits and Documentation
We will assist you with all the necessary permits and documentation processes including TIMS (Trekkers’s Information Management System ). Make sure to carry a photocopy of your passports, visas, and permits.
It would help if you acquired Special trekking permits from the Department of Immigration. It will cost you USD 90 per person for the first week and pay an additional USD 15 per person per day (beyond 1 week would help if you acquire the conservation area ( Api Conservation Area ) and permit fee for this trek.
